Cyclic voltammetric studies with crude plant extracts of some traditionally used Indian medicinal plants (e.g. Limnophila indica, Zornia diphyyla, Centipeda minima and Rauwolfia tetraphylla) were carried out in order to evaluate their antioxidant potential in comparison to ascorbic acid (vitaminC).
