Retinopathy Review Articles

Retinopathy means the retina had been damaged by disease. The retina is the part which senses light inside the eye. Various illnesses can cause retinopathy. Vision loss can be partial or total. Retinopathy may develop slowly or suddenly, may improve by itself or cause permanent damage. The retina is full of blood vessels. Abnormalities are a major cause of retinopathy in those vessels. Retinopathy is diagnosed during eye exams by an ophthalmologist or an optometrist. To make this diagnosis the clinician will need to examine the retina at the back of the eye. There are many ways to test the retina.The clinician can clearly show the retina by looking through the eye with a torch. In most cases, the clinician will dilate the pupil to make retinopathy diagnosis the gold standard for better visualization, Stereoscopic fundus photography. A review article is an essay that sums up a topic's existing state of understanding. Instead of disclosing new data or research, a review article surveys and summarizes previously published studies. Review papers are often often called survey posts, or summary papers in news reporting.
