Left Gastric Vein

 Left gastric vein (or coronary vein) is a vein resonant deoxygenated blood that originates from branches draining both exteriors of the stomach drains both gastric walls. It forms a loop with the right gastric vein at the slighter curving of the stomach. Left gastric vein. The left gastric vein (also known as the coronary vein drains both gastric walls. It forms a loop with the right gastric vein at the lesser curvature of the stomach. The left gastric vein travels in the lesser momentum to drain in the portal vein. It also communicates with the lower oesophageal veins through several anastomotic channels. The left gastric vein travels in the slighter omentum to drain in the portal vein. it runs from right to left along the lesser curvature of the stomach, between the two layers of the lesser omentum, to the oesophageal opening of the stomach, where it receives some esophageal veins.
