Heart Failure Top Open Access Journals

Heart failure, sometimes known as congestive heart failure, occurs when blood is not pumped as well as should by heart muscle. Some conditions, such as narrowed arteries in heart (coronary artery disease) or high blood pressure, gradually leave the heart too weak or stiff to fill and pump efficiently. Coronary artery disease, heart attack, cardiomyopathy and high blood pressure can cause heart failure. Treatment for heart disease involves exercise recommended by a doctor, improvements in diet, medications and occasionally surgery. Symptoms  can come and go continuously. Symptoms include: Congested lungs, retention of fluid and water, dizziness, weakness and fatigue, rapid or irregular heartbeats. One way to prevent cardiac insufficiency is to prevent and control heart failure conditions such as coronary artery disease, high blood pressure , diabetes or obesity
