cells from embryonic stem (ES) cells. The highly enriched population of neuroepithelial precursor
cells derived from ES
cells increased in the presence of a primary fibroblast growth factor (bFGF). These
cells divide into neurons and glia following bFGF release. By further dividing the
cells into the serum containing the medium, neurons express different types of specific neurons and produce excitatory and inhibitory connections. The expression pattern of specialized neural markers indicates the presence of different types of neuronal cell (CNS) neuronal cells. Top
