Congenital Heart Disorders Top Open Access Journals

A congenital heart defect is an problem regarding the heart structure. It's on at birth. The most common type of birth defect is the congenital heart defects. The defects can include the heart walls, the heart valves, and the near-heart arteries and veins. They can interrupt normal blood flow through the heart. The flow of blood can slow down, go in the wrong direction or get to the wrong place or be completely blocked. Doctors diagnose congenital heart defects using a physical exam and special heart tests. Severe defects are often found during pregnancy or shortly after birth. Signs and signs of severe fetal birth defects include Rapid respiration Cyanosis-a bluish tint on hands, fingernails and lips Wear and tear Poor circulation of Blood Many congenital heart defects cause few symptoms or no. They often do not get diagnosed until they are older children. Many children with congenital heart defects need no treatment, but other children do. Treatment can include medicines, catheter procedures, heart transplantsand surgery. The treatment depends on the type of defect, how severe it is and the age , size and overall health of a child
