Use of Lead Chromate for Photocatalytic Degradation of Methylene Blue

The effect of different parameters like pH, concentration of Methylene blue, amount of lead chromate and light intensity on the rate of degradation was observed. A tentative mechanism for this reaction has been proposed involving oxidation by hydroperoxyl radical.
