virtual engineering open access This paper outlines the scope and targets of virtual engineering, and introduces a methodology based totally on an iterative process definition and an integrated manner and IT-system platform. The underlying iterative system is divided into six steps - definition, creation, evaluation, virtualisation, validation and tracking - which, at the same time as tremendous in their own right, are a part of a collaborative studying cycle, adding cost to each step of the improvement system.
