Video Gaming

A video game combines all the elements of a great story adventure, danger, colorful and daring characters and a plot with enhanced computer graphics and interactivity. Video game makers do their best to put players inside the game, an attempt to give them the most intense and entertaining experience. Studies investigating how playing video games can affect the brain have shown that they can cause changes in many brain regions. Research to date suggests that playing video games can change the brain regions responsible for attention and visuospatial skills and make them more efficient. When people say playing video games is a waste of time, they are referring to those who play all day or all night long. Video games allow people to relax, replenish their energy, and enable them to be more productive in other areas of life. Playing video games together is a great way for family and friends to interact.
