Sedimentology Peer Review Journals

This investigation incorporates the exploration of a tertiary matured and for the most part evaporitic sedimentary bowl, which is situated in the area Ulukışla (NiÄŸde), and northern piece of Mount Bolkar of the Middle Taurus (Toros) Mountains. This area is an internal marinal bowl that was shaped after the Paleocene in the north of an impact zone of an old sea in the southern part of the Neo-Tethys, which is shut between Upper Cretaceous and Lower Paleocene. In the south of the locale, the Upper Cretaceous units were pushed which switch issues on Paleocene units towards south. Inside the outskirts of our field, there are disfigurements that were by implication brought about by these over thrusts. In our investigation, we have explored and clarified the sedimentological highlights of silt which are between Paleocene-Pliocene matured dregs around Ulukışla (Nigde) and the sedimentation system of vanishes with ecological conditions during this framing and topographical development of the district. The most established unit in the examination field is the ÅžimÅŸim development (Alihoca ophiolite), which is Upper Cretaceous matured, ophiolithic and of dull dim green shading. The Sansartepe Formation that is Paleocene matured and spoken to by cushion magmas remains conflictingly over this arrangement (since miss happening in the pad magmas is not exactly the disfigurement in ÅžimÅŸim Formation and as indicated by stratigraphic rules it must be an unconformity between them). At that point, Serenkaya Formation, which is Lower-Middle Eocene matured and by and large spoke to by the dregs with coarse, rakish, sub-precise parts and squares concordantly, overlies Sansartepe Formation. The majority of the material of the Serenkaya Formation is from the Sansartepe Formation. After Serenkaya Formation, the Güney Formation, which is Middle-Upper Eocene matured, comes concordantly.
