Retinal Imaging Scientific Journals

Retinal imaging is the latest advance in eye care technology. Retinal imaging helps the optometrist capture and view the digital image of the retina, the present blood vessels and the optic nerve at back of the eyes. This technology helps in the early detection and management of diseases which can affect both eyes and also the person overall health. The diseases include glaucoma, diabetes, hypertension and macular degeneration. Retinal imaging also show a significant vascular distinction between those having schizophrenia and those having hypertension, a condition commonly found in individuals with the disorder. With retinal imaging technology, the optometrist can easily detect the most minor changes to the structures at the back of your eyes. Early detection helps in the treatment of the disease at an early stage and can delay progression and reduce the severity of eye diseases if any and other health conditions including diabetes. Studies in scientific journals are published mainly by committed scientists, such as students , scholars, and professors, rather than by professional journalists. Materials in science journals are widely used in study and better education. Scientific articles allow researchers to stay up so far with the developments of their field and direct their own research.
