A cancer of blood-forming tissues, stopping the body's ability to fight infection. Cancer of blood-forming tissues, including bone marrow is Leukaemia. Many kinds exist such as acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, acute myeloid leukaemia and chronic lymphocytic leukaemia. Many patients with slow-increase types of leukaemia don't have symptoms. Rapidly growing types of leukaemia may cause symptoms that leads to fatigue, weight loss, frequent infections and easy bleeding or bruising. Treatment is very variable. For slow-growing leukaemias, treatment may contain monitoring. For aggressive leukaemias, treatment recommends chemotherapy that's sometimes followed by radiation and stem-cell transplant. Blood cells are formed inside your bone marrow, and that’s where leukemia starts. It tends your body to make white blood cells that go out of control and live longer than normal. And unlike normal white blood cells, they don’t help the body in fighting infection.
