Author(s): Wei Song

The progress of scientific research and the development of project short track speed skating has a high degree of interdependence; studying results issues of the short track speed skating and continuously raising the research level of the project has important strategic significance for the improvement and consolidation of the project performance. Based on the curve fitting prediction, it respectively conducts weighted calculation on the predictive values of quadratic fitting and cubic fitting, and uses a combination prediction algorithm to more accurately predict the average score and the highest score of 1000m short track speed skating champion KwakYoon -Gy in 2014World Championships, obtains that the predicted scores are respectively 86.37s, 87.96s and 85.36s, and conducts analysis on the performance stability of KwakYoon-Gy and home advantage effect by usingMatlab, and concludes that KwakYoon-Gy has a relatively large probability to acquire champions.According to the forecast results, targeted preparing for KwakYoon-Gy canmake home advantage into full play, and then play out his full potential
