Abstract

Electrochemical oxidation of phenol on thick films of the doped tin oxide

It was proposed to create a thick filmfromnanosized powder of the doped tin oxide. Synthesized tin oxide was successfully used for electrochemical analysis of phenol oxidation. It is found that metal-oxide formation on powders surface influences oxidation potential; change of the amount of the doping component leads to the change of the oxidation reaction rate.
